The team played a great game and won that day! Many still say that the 1991 Huskies was the best team in college football history.

  • Two-year letterman
  • One of four Husky co-captains
  • Found his niche at guard after nearly two seasons as a middle guard
  • Moved to offense midway through his sophomore season
  • Listed as the starter at strongside guard at the end of spring
  • On of the strongest players on the Husky team
  • Owned the team record in the squat (730 pounds) and power clean lift (360 pounds)
  • Surprisingly quick for his size
  • 1989 – Solid performer who started nine games at weakside guard
  • Missed the Purdue and Arizona games due to an ankle sprain suffered in the first quarter of the season opener against Texas A&M
  • Came back to start the last nine games of the regular season, including the Freedom Bowl
  • Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 honors
  • Shared UW Offensive Player of the Week honors vs. Oregon, UCLA, and Oregon State
  • 1988 – Won his first varsity letter
  • Played in eight games and made five starts at left guard
  • Took over for Jeff Pahukoa in the fourth game against UCLA after Jeff went down with an injury in practice
  • Started the next five games before suffering a right knee injury in the Stanford game, which kept him on the sidelines the rest of the year
  • Was UW’s Most Improved Offensive Lineman at the end of the spring ball in 1988
  • 1987 – Red-Shirt Season
  • Moved from defense to offense just prior to the ASU game
  • Started to show some promise late in the season
  • 1986 – Passed up red-shirt year
  • One of three true freshmen to play with the varsity
  • Registered one tackle in spot duty
